A team of Armenian officials has been appointed to the UEFA Europa Conference League group stage match between Maltese club Hamrun Spartans and Swiss side Lausanne.
The match will be refereed by Henrik Nalbandyan, assisted by Mesrop Ghazaryan and Atom Sevgyulyan. The fourth official will be Ashot Galtakhchyan, while Zaven Hovhannisyan and Yura Makhtesyan will be in charge of the VAR and AVAR systems.
The game will take place on October 23 in Malta.
Notably, Hamrun Spartans became the first Maltese club to reach the main stage of a European competition — a historic achievement for Maltese football.
Additionally, another Armenian official, Karen Nalbandyan, will serve as the match inspector for the Europa League clash between Maccabi Tel Aviv and Midtjylland, also scheduled for October 23.
