Armenia took third place at the European Championships, winning 11 medals

At the recently concluded European Boxing Championships for the younger age category, held in Serbia, the Armenian national team took third place in the team standings, the press service of the Armenian Boxing Federation reported.
The Armenian boxers won 11 medals: 2 gold, 4 silver, and 5 bronze. The European champions were Arto Baghramyan (46 kg) and Menua Ulikhanyan (54 kg). Silver medals were won by Samvel Grigoryan (44 kg), David Dunyamalyan (48 kg), Gagik Harutyunyan (63 kg), and Grisha Dilanyan (80 kg). Bronze medals went to Alen Nalbandyan (40 kg), Gagik Manukyan (50 kg), Samvel Sardaryan (60 kg), Sayat Tumanyan (66 kg), and Aleksandr Arustamyan (70 kg).
The Armenian team competed under the leadership of Artur Melkumyan. In Serbia, the team was also supported by the President of the Armenian Boxing Federation, Hovhannes Hovsepyan.
