Armenia to Compete at the 2026 IMMAF Senior and Youth MMA World Championships

The Armenian national team will take part in the 2026 IMMAF Senior and Youth World Championships in mixed martial arts. The tournament will be held in Tbilisi from November 1 to 7.
Armenia will be represented at the World Championships by athletes competing in several weight categories.
Seniors:
- up to 56.7 kg — Artur Asoyan;
- up to 74.8 kg — Mkrtich Vardanyan, Vahan Matevosyan;
- over 97 kg — Henrik Mkhitaryan.
Youth U20:
- up to 61.2 kg — Onik Martirosyan;
- up to 65.8 kg — Mikael Tumasyan, Chako Sadoyan;
- up to 70.3 kg — Araik Sahakyan, Hakob Avetisyan;
- up to 93 kg — Artur Atayan.
Women’s Youth U20:
- up to 61.2 kg — Zhuanna Abrahamyan.
The Armenian team is being prepared for the World Championships by coaches Stepan Shahmuradyan, Viktor Hovsepyan, Tigran Petrosyan, Hayk Siravyan and Tigran Gevorgyan.
The IMMAF World Championships are considered one of the leading international competitions in amateur MMA.
