Armenia Maintains Its Position in the Updated FIBA Ranking

The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) has published the updated ranking of national men’s teams. The Armenian national team has retained its 93rd place in the global list.

Recently, the team played two opening matches of the first stage of the EuroBasket 2029 pre-qualification in Group B. Away, Armenia lost to Bulgaria 88–98, and in Yerevan the team was defeated by Norway 62–74.

Positions of Armenia’s Opponents

Armenia’s opponents in the EuroBasket 2029 pre-qualification Group B have also retained or changed their positions:

• Bulgaria dropped two places and is now ranked 54th.

• Norway kept its 80th position.
