Armenia thrash Kyrgyzstan in the second round of the Unibank Cup

On December 22, the second round of the international futsal tournament Unibank Cup took place in Yerevan, featuring the national teams of Armenia, Moldova, Georgia, and Kyrgyzstan.

In the second match of the day, the Armenian national team confidently defeated Kyrgyzstan with a score of 5–1.

Arsen Petrosov and Nikita Khromykh scored braces for the hosts, while Denis Nevedrov added another goal.

The first half ended in a 1–1 draw, but in the second half Armenia scored four unanswered goals to secure a convincing victory. It should be recalled that in the opening match of the tournament, Armenia defeated Moldova 2–1.

On December 24, Armenia will face the national team of Georgia. Kick-off is scheduled for 20:00 Yerevan time. The Kyrgyzstan national team still has two matches to play — against Moldova and Georgia.

In another match, Georgia beat Moldova with a score of 5:1.
