Armenia HC crushes Egypt in Dream Nations Cup opener

Armenia HC, a hockey team based in Montreal, claimed a dominant 6–0 victory over Egypt in their opening match of the Dream Nations Cup, held in New Jersey.
Each of the six goals was scored by a different player: Mikka Kelechian, Chris Dedeyan, Michael Guluzian, Lucas Fung, Arden Muradyan, and Niko Chiminian. Arveg Hovsepian stood out with a hat-trick of assists.
In the group stage, Armenia HC will also face Puerto Rico and the team representing the First Nations.
The Dream Nations Cup is an annual friendly hockey tournament held in the United States. It features teams formed around a shared national or ethnic identity, with most players typically residing in North America.
Earlier this year, in February 2025, Armenia HC took part in the Winter Pan-Armenian Games held in Yerevan.
