Arman Adamyan (100 kg) claimed victory at the Judo Grand Slam stage held in Abu Dhabi. For the 28-year-old athlete, this marks his third career win at a tournament of this level in the capital of the UAE and his first gold medal of 2025.
The Armenian judoka representing Russia demonstrated confident performances, defeating opponents from Germany, South Korea, Spain, and the Netherlands. In the final, Adamyan faced Russian athlete Idar Bifov and secured a decisive victory, reaffirming his high competitive level.
Adamyan’s gold medal became the second victory for the Russian team at this Grand Slam stage and helped secure first place in the overall team standings.
