On Friday evening in Doha, the official weigh-ins and final staredowns took place ahead of UFC Qatar, which will be held on November 22 in Qatar.
The main event participants — Arman Tsarukyan and Dan Hooker — also completed their faceoff. During the staredown, the New Zealander began aggressively bouncing, which apparently irritated Tsarukyan. The Armenian stepped in very close and struck Hooker with a headbutt.
The fighters were quickly separated, and the incident was resolved. Now the confrontation will continue in the octagon on November 22. The main event is expected to start at around 11:30 PM Moscow time.
