Arman Tsarukyan Submits Ankit Baiyanpura at Hype Armenia

Armenian fighter Arman Tsarukyan defeated Indian fitness blogger and wrestler Ankit Baiyanpura in the main event of the Hype Armenia tournament, which took place in Yerevan on August 1.
The grappling match ended just two minutes after it began. Tsarukyan locked in an armbar, forcing his opponent to submit.
After the bout, Arman addressed Dillon Danis and called out the American fighter of Armenian descent, challenging him to a future match in Yerevan.
It was Tsarukyan’s second appearance in Yerevan. In December 2025, he competed at a Hype tournament, where he faced Sharabutdin Magomedov, better known as Shara Bullet. That match ended in a draw.
Tsarukyan has said that he takes part in such tournaments because they give him an opportunity to compete in front of his home crowd and entertain Armenian fans.
Ankit Baiyanpura is widely known in India as a popular fitness blogger with an audience of several million followers. He also practices traditional Indian wrestling. However, against Tsarukyan, one of the strongest fighters in the lightweight division, Baiyanpura was unable to offer serious resistance.
The Tsarukyan vs. Baiyanpura bout headlined the Hype Armenia tournament in Yerevan.
