After his grappling bout at ADXC 10 in Moscow, Arman Tsarukyan made a bold statement regarding his near-term plans in the UFC. The fighter expressed his willingness to step in on short notice if either participant in the lightweight title fight—Charles Oliveira or Ilia Topuria—suffers an injury.
"I'm flying to the U.S., I'll be there. I'm ready to step in on short notice for the Oliveira vs. Topuria fight if someone gets injured. If I get the call, I will accept it no matter what," said Tsarukyan.
He also reminded fans that he withdrew from his previous fight and wants to redeem himself in the eyes of the UFC:
"I need to make up for that. I have to take risks—whatever the UFC says, I’ll do."
According to Arman, active negotiations are underway regarding his next fight. It will be officially announced after the Topuria vs. Oliveira bout.
