Ararat-Armenia thrash Van in friendly after returning from Georgia

Yerevan-based Ararat-Armenia played their first friendly match after a training camp in Georgia and secured a confident 5–2 win over Van.
Goals for Vakhach Tulupov’s team were scored by Araik Eloyan, Hakob Hakobyan, Jonathan Duarte, and Alvin Tera. One more goal came from an own goal by a Van player.
The match was part of Ararat-Armenia’s preparations for the UEFA Europa Conference League second qualifying round. The Armenian club will face Romanian side Universitatea Cluj, with the first leg scheduled for July 24.
