Ararat-Armenia beat Pyunik and extend their lead in the Armenian Premier League, Noah climb to second place

Ararat-Armenia earned a crucial victory in the postponed Matchday 16 fixture of the Armenian championship, defeating Pyunik 1-0.
The only goal of the match came as early as the 9th minute, with Zidine Banzyaki finding the net. It was his second goal of the current Armenian Premier League campaign.
Thanks to the win, Ararat-Armenia strengthened their position at the top of the table and increased their lead over their closest rivals to 9 points.
In another postponed match of the day, Noah confidently defeated Gandzasar 4-1. Sandro Perković’s team moved up to second place and still have a game in hand — against Pyunik.
Artem Avanesyan opened the scoring against Gandzasar in the 20th minute. For the 26-year-old midfielder, this was his first match of 2026, and he immediately marked it with a goal.
In the 66th minute, Gandzasar equalized through Nobrega, but substitute Nardin Mulahusejnović changed the course of the match. He scored a brace, finding the net in the 74th and 82nd minutes. Gustavo Sangaré set the final score in the 93rd minute.
Notably, Noah played the match with a semi-reserve lineup but still managed to secure a big win.
