Ararat-Armenia defeat Telavi and return to Yerevan

Armenian vice-champions Ararat-Armenia concluded their training camp in Georgia with a victory. In the final friendly match, Tulip’s team defeated Georgian side Telavi 4–2.

The goal fest was opened by newcomer João Lima, who marked his debut with a goal. Matthew Gbomadu, Misak Akopyan, and Edgar Grigoryan also found the net.

The training camp in Georgia was a key step in preparing for upcoming European challenges. On July 24, Ararat-Armenia will face Romanian club Universitatea Cluj in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Europa Conference League. The final stage of preparations will take place in Yerevan.
