Ararat-Armenia started their training camp in Georgia with a 1–0 victory over local side Kolkheti-1913. The only goal of the match was scored by Matthew Gbomadu.
The vice-champions of Armenia will play their next friendly on July 5 against Dinamo Tbilisi.
Ararat-Armenia is currently preparing for the second qualifying round of the UEFA Europa Conference League, where they will face Romanian club Universitatea Cluj.
