According to Sportaran.com, Aram Baghdasaryan will continue his career with Latvian club Super Nova, which competes in the Latvian top division — the Virslīga. The 19-year-old Armenian forward has already joined training with his new team and is preparing for the start of the Latvian championship season, with the first round scheduled for March 8.
Despite his young age, this will already be Baghdasaryan’s third full season in senior football. Last year he played in Lithuania’s top division — the A Lyga — for Džiugas, scoring 2 goals in 29 matches. Previously, the Armenian striker represented Latvia’s Liepāja, where he scored 2 goals in 25 appearances and also featured in matches of the UEFA Europa Conference League.
Baghdasaryan also had other career options, including a move to Italy, where his brother, Arman Muradyan, plays. However, the transfer fell through due to documentation issues. Muradyan and Baghdasaryan are brothers despite having different surnames: Baghdasaryan holds Armenian citizenship, while Muradyan has Latvian citizenship, which complicated the visa process. For this reason, Aram has not yet been able to move to Italy.
Baghdasaryan will spend the upcoming season with Super Nova, with an official announcement of the transfer expected soon.
