The football club “Araks” from the city of Ararat has officially been granted the right to participate in the Armenian First League for the 2025/26 season. This was reported on the website of the Football Federation of Armenia.
The decision was made by the FFA Executive Committee, increasing the number of participating teams to 16.
Let us recall that earlier Araks played in the Amateur A-League and became the champion. After that, the team applied for a license to participate in the First League. Initially, the license was rejected, but then the club from Ararat filed an appeal and managed to get a license.
The draw will take place on July 15, when the fixture list will also be announced.
