Alashkert beat Gandzasar and temporarily move up to second place in the Armenian Premier League

Alashkert claimed an important victory in the Armenian championship, defeating Gandzasar 3-1.
The main hero of the match was Alashkert captain Karen Nalbandyan. The midfielder scored a brace, converting two penalties. He now has 13 goals in the current Armenian Premier League season.
Caio Henrique also scored for the winners. Gandzasar’s only goal came from Bertrand Mani. For the Chad national team forward, it was his third goal of the season.
After this victory, Alashkert moved on to 47 points and temporarily climbed to second place in the standings. The team has played 25 matches and is currently ahead of Noah, Pyunik and Urartu, who all have games in hand.
