Aik Mnatsakanyan Becomes Bulgarian Greco-Roman Wrestling Champion Once Again

Armenian wrestler Aik Mnatsakanyan has claimed another national-level victory, winning the gold medal at the 2026 Bulgarian Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship in the 82 kg weight class.
In the final match, Mnatsakanyan confidently defeated Svetoslav Nikolov with a score of 9:1. A total of 26 wrestlers competed in this category, and Aik fought five bouts, winning four of them early, showcasing a high level of preparation and dominance over his opponents.
It’s worth noting that well-known Bulgarian wrestlers Edmond and Grisha Nazaryan—the sons of legendary two-time Olympic champion Armen Nazaryan—did not participate in this year’s championship.
