7 Armenian victories at the anniversary UNF 30 tournament in California

On February 1, the 30th anniversary event of UpNext Fighting (UNF) took place in Commerce, California, where Armenian MMA fighters delivered an outstanding performance: 7 wins out of 8 athletes.

In the main event, Taron Grigoryan (7-2) fought for the featherweight title but lost to former UFC fighter Albert Morales (19-10-1) via submission in the second round.

• David Mgoyan (8-1) defeated Javier Garcia (13-7) by unanimous decision

• Migran Arutyunyan (7-2) confidently beat Sean Torres (8-10), also by unanimous decision

• Artur Arutyunyan (6-1) finished Jeff Martin (10-13) via first-round submission

• Parghev Khachatryan (2-0) secured a quick first-round submission win over Robert Duran

• Zhora Sahakyan (4-0) choked out Ryan Lilly (12-14) in the first round.

• Arshag Dadourian (6-2, amateur) became the new Rising Stars bantamweight champion, defeating Seth Coleman (3-2, amateur) by unanimous decision

• Kamo Grigoryan (5-0, amateur) extended his unbeaten streak with a decision win over Chris Martinez (5-6, amateur)
