Yerevan club "Sardarapat" has officially announced the transfer of 21-year-old forward Levon Vardanyan from "Alashkert". Details of the deal have not been disclosed yet, the club's press service reported.
Vardanyan is a graduate of "Pyunik" and has previously played for a number of Armenian teams, including BKMA, "Noah", and "Van". He achieved his greatest success in the 2022/23 season, when he scored 8 goals and provided 4 assists in Premier League matches for "Noah". However, he later failed to secure a place in "Pyunik", and in the 2024/25 season, he mostly came on as a substitute for "Van", losing his starting position to foreign forwards.
"Sardarapat" continues to focus on young Armenian players. Earlier, the club had already strengthened the squad with Yuri Budayan, Robert Potinyan, and Sergey Kochkanyan.
