18-year-old Ararat goalkeeper Edgar Fitlijyan to continue his career in Spain

Young goalkeeper of Yerevan's Ararat, Edgar Fitlijyan, has signed a contract with Spanish club Xerez DFC Cantera, which competes in the country's fourth division.

The 18-year-old is a product of Ararat’s academy and has played for the club’s second team over the past two seasons. Fitlijyanhas also been called up to Armenia’s U17 and U19 national teams.

Joining the Spanish club will mark Edgar’s first international experience in his career.
