UEFA Qualifiers Third Round Draw Takes Place Today: Possible Opponents for Armenian Clubs

Today, July 21, at 13:00 Moscow time (14:00 Yerevan time), the draw for the third qualifying round of the 2025/26 UEFA club competitions will take place in Nyon, Switzerland. Armenian clubs — Noah, Pyunik, and Ararat-Armenia — will learn their potential opponents for the next stage.

UEFA Champions League

If Noah defeats Hungarian side Ferencváros, it will continue in the Champions League and may face the winner of one of the following ties:

• Rijeka (Croatia) vs Ludogorets (Bulgaria)

• Hamrun Spartans (Malta) vs Dynamo Kyiv (Ukraine)

• Shkëndija (North Macedonia) vs FCSB (Romania)

If the Armenian champions lose to Ferencváros, they will move to the Europa League. Possible opponents if they advance to UEL third round:

• Loser of Rijeka vs Ludogorets

• Loser of RFS (Latvia) vs Malmö (Sweden)

• Loser of Lincoln (Gibraltar) vs Crvena Zvezda (Serbia)

The third-round matches are scheduled for August 5/6 and 12. Kick-off times will be announced by July 25.

UEFA Conference League

If Pyunik beats Hungarian side Győr, it will stay in the Conference League and could face one of the following clubs:

• Viking (Norway) / Koper (Slovenia)

• Dundee United (Scotland) / UNA Strassen (Luxembourg)

• Anderlecht (Belgium) / Häcken (Sweden)

• AIK (Sweden) / Paide (Estonia)

• Košice (Slovakia) / Neman (Belarus)

If Ararat-Armenia wins against Universitatea Cluj (Romania), it will be paired with one of the following:

• Aktobe (Kazakhstan) / Sparta Prague (Czech Republic)

• Omonia (Cyprus) / Torpedo Kutaisi (Georgia)

• Zimbru (Moldova) / Astana (Kazakhstan)

• Riga (Latvia) / Dila Gori (Georgia)

• Hibernians (Malta) / Spartak Trnava (Slovakia)
