On September 18, the 2025 Women’s Wrestling World Championships ended in Zagreb, Croatia. On the final day, the finals were held in four weight categories: 53, 62, 68, and 72 kg.

World champions were crowned: three Japanese wrestlers and one Ukrainian.

Overall, Japan’s team won 5 gold medals. North Korea claimed 2 golds, while Ecuador (first in history), Ukraine, and the USA took one each.

Team Russia collected 2 silver and 2 bronze medals.
