Vahagn Minasyan joins Armenia national team's coaching staff

Former head coach of Armenia U19 youth team Vaagn Minasyan has been appointed assistant to the national team’s head coach John van’t Schip.
As a player, Minasyan made 13 appearances for the Armenian national team and scored 1 goal. In 2024, the 40-year-old specialist led the U19 side, managing 5 matches (3 losses, 1 draw, and 1 win). Previously, he worked as head coach of Yerevan-based club BKMA.
Currently, the Armenian national team is holding a training camp in Yerevan in preparation for friendly matches against Kosovo (June 6) and Montenegro (June 9).
It is worth noting that the new head coach of Armenia U19 is Misha Djorkaeff.
