Urartu defeated Shirak and returned to the top of the APL

In the opening match of Round 8 of the Armenian Premier League, Urartu claimed a narrow 1-0 victory over Shirak.

The only goal of the match was scored by Brazilian forward Bruno Michel, finishing off a pass from Jirair Margaryan. This was Michel’s eighth goal of the season, and he has now scored in three consecutive matches.

Thanks to this win, Robert Arzumanyan’s team returned to the top of the standings, while Shirak remain in the relegation zone, sitting second from bottom.
