Timothy Fayulu Called Up to DR Congo National Team for 2026 World Cup Intercontinental Playoff

Goalkeeper of an Armenian club, Timothy Fayulu, has been called up to the national team of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Together with the team, the goalkeeper will travel to Mexico, where the Congolese side will fight for a place at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
On March 31, the DR Congo national team will play the decisive intercontinental playoff match for a spot at the World Cup. The African team will face the winner of the matchup between Jamaica and New Caledonia.
Earlier, DR Congo defeated Nigeria in the African playoff via a penalty shootout. In that match, Armenian club goalkeeper Timothy Fayulu became one of the heroes by saving several penalties in the shootout.
