Champions League Round of 16 Draw Held: Teams’ Path to the Final Determined

On February 27, the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 draw took place in Nyon, Switzerland. The ceremony determined the playoff matchups and the potential bracket all the way to the final.
Each team had two possible opponents based on their position in the league phase standings. Clubs that advanced through the playoff round were drawn against teams that qualified directly for the Round of 16 by finishing in the top eight of the league phase.
Champions League Round of 16 draw results:
Real Madrid — Manchester City
Bodø/Glimt — Sporting
PSG — Chelsea
Newcastle — Barcelona
Galatasaray — Liverpool
Atalanta — Bayern Munich
Atlético — Tottenham
Bayer — Arsenal
The first legs of the Round of 16 will be played on March 10/11, with the return legs scheduled for March 17/18.
The ceremony also determined the tournament bracket for the next stages, including potential quarterfinal and semifinal matchups. Therefore, clubs already know their possible opponents in the next rounds should they advance to the quarterfinals.

PSG / Chelsea — Galatasaray / Liverpool
Real Madrid / Manchester City — Atalanta / Bayern Munich
Newcastle / Barcelona — Atlético / Tottenham
Bodø/Glimt / Sporting — Bayer / Arsenal

The 2025/26 UEFA Champions League final will take place on May 30 in Budapest.
