In Matchday 11 of the Argentine Championship, Belgrano suffered a 1–2 home defeat to Racing.
The only goal for the hosts was scored by former Armenia international Lucas Zelarayán. In the 54th minute, the midfielder equalized with a superb strike after cutting inside, but just seven minutes later Racing regained the lead and held on to secure the win.
After 11 rounds, Belgrano sit in second place in Group B of the Argentine Championship.
