Ranking Freestyle Wrestling Tournament in Budapest: Day 1 Results

On July 17, the 4th Imre Polyák and János Varga Ranking Freestyle Wrestling Tournament kicked off in Budapest, the capital of Hungary. This tournament is considered one of the key stages of preparation for the 2025 World Championships, which will take place in September in Croatia.
On the first day, medals were awarded in seven weight categories. Bahrain and Japan each won two gold medals, while the USA, Georgia, and India claimed one gold apiece.
Team Armenia was represented by two wrestlers: Arman Andreasyan (70 kg) and Vazgen Tevanyan (65 kg). Andreasyan earned a silver medal, and Tevanyan won bronze.
