Pyunik lose to Ural in friendly match in the UAE

Yerevan-based Pyunik played their second friendly match as part of their training camp in the United Arab Emirates. The Armenian side faced Ural Yekaterinburg, a club competing in Russia’s First League. The match ended in a 3–2 defeat for Pyunik.

Artak Oseyan’s team started the game strongly and went into halftime with a 1–0 lead. However, in the second half Ural managed to turn the tide and secure the victory. One of Pyunik’s goals was scored by Matas Vareika.

Earlier, in their first friendly match at the training camp, Pyunik recorded a convincing 5–0 win over UAE club United Sport.
