Pyunik defeats Alashkert again and heads into the break as league leader

Yerevan’s Pyunik secured a narrow 1–0 victory over Alashkert for the second consecutive match.

As in the previous round, the outcome was decided by a precise strike from Momo Yansane. This time, the assist was provided by Gevorg Tarakhchyan.

For Yansane, this goal was already his fourth in the league. He has now scored in three consecutive matches, showing excellent form at the start of the season.

The team led by Artak Oseyan goes into the break as the leader of the Armenian championship. Pyunik and Ararat-Armenia both have 38 points, but Pyunik have a game in hand, giving them an additional advantage in the title race.
