Pyunik Defeats Al-Ittifaq at Training Camp in the UAE

Pyunik secured a victory over Al-Ittifaq in a friendly match held during their training camp in the United Arab Emirates. The match ended 1–0 in favor of the Yerevan side.

The only goal of the game was scored by defender Filipe Almeida, whose precise strike gave Pyunik a narrow win. The Armenian club played solidly in defense and managed to keep the advantage until the final whistle.

Al-Ittifaq competes in the UAE First Division. The team features former Italy national team striker Mario Balotelli, who wore the captain’s armband in this match.

Earlier the same day, Pyunik played another friendly, drawing with Latvian champions Riga.
