On March 29, the junior Muay Thai tournament Antalya Open Cup 2026 concluded in Antalya, Turkey.

The Armenian national team was represented by two athletes under the guidance of coach Aleksan Aghbalyan.

In the under-14 category (52 kg), Araik Brutyan won the gold medal. He had one bout—the final—where he defeated his Azerbaijani opponent by technical knockout in the very first round.

Another Armenian representative, Gorik Hakobyan, competing in the under-18 category (67 kg), won a bronze medal. He fought two bouts: a points victory over a Turkish athlete and a loss by technical knockout to a fighter from Belgium.
