First Winners and Medalists of the 2026 Asian Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship

On April 7, the second day of the 2026 Asian Wrestling Championship in Bishkek, the winners and medalists in five Greco-Roman weight categories were determined. Medals were contested in the 55, 63, 77, 87, and 130 kg categories, while finalists were identified in the remaining weight classes.

Three wrestlers from Kyrgyzstan became Asian champions, along with one representative each from Uzbekistan and Iran.

The most spectacular and intense match was for the bronze medal in the 77 kg category, where Yonghun Noh (South Korea) and Aman Aman (India) scored 29 points combined. In the end, the Korean wrestler won 15:14.
