Armenian defender Aventis Aventisyan will continue his career in Greece. The 23-year-old left back has signed a contract with PAE Chania, a club competing in the Greek Super League 2.
The player’s previous team was West Armenia. However, over the past six months, Aventisyan has been without match practice.
Aventisyan is a product of the PAOK academy system. Over the years, he has also played in the championships of the Netherlands and Croatia. At international level, the defender has made 9 appearances for Armenia’s U21 national team.
It is worth noting that this winter PAE Chania also signed another Armenian footballer — forward Edgar Movsesyan. The club is fighting to retain its place in the league this season.
