Noah and Urartu start Round 21 of the Armenian Premier League with wins
The first matches of Round 21 in the Armenian football championship (Fastex Premier League) have taken place, with convincing victories for Noah and Urartu.
Noah’s confident win
Noah crushed Gandzasar 3–0 away from home. Brazilian forward Mateus Aias opened the scoring, and the goal was historic — it marked his 28th for the club, making him the all-time top scorer.
In the second half, the visitors extended their lead: Sergey Muradyan scored in the 61st minute after a corner, and Nardin Mulahusejnovic sealed the result in the 75th minute.
With this win, Noah reached 38 points and continues to fight for top positions, while Gandzasar, with 17 points, remains seventh.
Urartu edge past Van
In another match, Urartu secured a 2–1 victory over Van in a tough contest.
After a goalless first half, Bruno Michel became the key figure. He opened the scoring in the 46th minute and then converted a penalty in the 58th to complete his brace.
The hosts managed only one response — Benik Hovhannisyan scored directly from a free kick in the 65th minute.
The win takes Urartu to 42 points and back to first place in the standings. Van, with 25 points, remains sixth.
