Iwu helped Rubin defeat Dynamo Makhachkala

Just three days after playing for the Armenian national team, midfielder Ugochukwu Iwu once again appeared in Rubin’s starting lineup and played the full 90 minutes against Dynamo Makhachkala.

The Round 8 RPL match ended with a 1:0 victory for the Kazan side — the decisive goal was scored in the 73rd minute by Mirlind Daku. This win allowed Radoslav Látal’s team to climb to 5th place in the league table.
