American club Birmingham Legion FC, competing in the USLC, has announced the signing of 24-year-old winger Gevork Diarbian. The Armenian footballer will join the team ahead of the 2026 season and is expected to become a key figure in the “Black and Gold” attacking line.
Diarbian spent the past year with New England Revolution II in MLS NEXT Pro. During the 2025 season, he emerged as one of the team’s leaders, recording 13 goal contributions (8 goals and 5 assists) while also topping the club’s charts in total shots and shots on target. His activity and direct approach made him one of the standout players of the competition.
Born in Rhode Island, Diarbyan previously made his debut for the New England Revolution first team, gaining valuable MLS experience. He is known for his pace, one-on-one ability, and relentless pressure on opposing defenses. In addition to his attacking qualities, he contributes defensively and maintains high intensity throughout the match.
In Birmingham, the club expects his mobility and aggressive style to add versatility to the attack and help break down compact defensive setups.
Legion FC’s first official match is scheduled for March 8 in the USLC, the second-tier league in the United States.
