Hamlet Manukyan won silver at the World Cup stage in Paris

Armenian gymnast Hamlet Manukyan became the silver medalist at the World Challenge Cup in artistic gymnastics held in Paris.

In the final on the pommel horse, the 18-year-old athlete scored 14.800 points, finishing behind Nariman Kurbanov of Kazakhstan (15.066). The bronze medal went to Italy’s Gabriele Targetta (14.733).

It should be noted that during the qualification round, Manukyan performed a new element on the pommel horse, which is now officially named after him — MANUKYAN.
