Armenia national team forward Finn Geragusian will take the field today, March 18, representing Sunderland U18 in the FA Youth Cup quarter-final against Manchester United.
The match will be held at the legendary Old Trafford. Although youth teams typically play at reserve venues, an exception has been made for this cup clash.
Kick-off is scheduled for 22:00 Moscow time (23:00 Yerevan time). The match will be streamed on YouTube, though restrictions may apply in some countries — using a VPN (England region) is recommended if needed.
This season, Geragusian has primarily played for the U21 side in Premier League 2, but he has featured for the U18s in the FA Youth Cup. His contribution has been crucial, as Sunderland have reached the quarter-finals for the first time since 2008. Back then, a young Jordan Henderson also played for the club.
The Armenian forward has already scored 4 goals in the current tournament.
It is worth noting that the 18-year-old has received his first call-up to the Armenia national team and will play in friendly matches against the UAE (March 26) and Belarus (March 29).
