Matchday 12 of the Armenian Premier League ended with two narrow 1–0 victories, each influencing the race at the top of the table.
Gandzasar pulled off a sensation by defeating league leaders Alashkert 1–0. The only and decisive goal was scored by Levon Petrosyan — his first-ever in the Premier League. This win ended Gandzasar’s five-match goalless and winless streak.
In another match, Urartu edged past Ararat 1–0 thanks to a goal from defender Anton Bratkov, assisted by Jirair Margaryan.
