In the 27th round of the FNL, Volgograd’s Rotor claimed a confident 3–1 win over Neftekhimik.
During the match, the hosts managed to turn the game around after conceding first. In the 24th minute, Artem Simonyan restored parity by finishing his team’s attack with precision.
The final score was set in the 86th minute when Simonyan’s relative, David Davidyan, scored a great goal, putting the game to bed and securing Rotor’s advantage.
It is worth noting that for both Armenian players, these goals were their third of the current FNL season.
