David Khachatryan won twice in one evening at HYPE FC in Yerevan (VIDEO)

On March 28 in Yerevan, at the HYPE FC tournament, Armenian MMA legend David “Emperor” Khachatryan (28–6) secured an early victory over Kazakhstan’s Serik Sarmukhamed.
The fight lasted only a few minutes. From the very first seconds, Khachatryan took control, brought his opponent to the ground, and unleashed a series of heavy strikes. Sarmukhamed was under intense pressure and failed to defend effectively, prompting the referee to stop the fight and award Khachatryan a first-round TKO victory.
Interestingly, the rivalry did not end there. Immediately after the fight, Khachatryan and Sarmukhamed agreed to a rematch the same evening — this time under boxing rules with MMA gloves.
The second bout also ended in Khachatryan’s favor, this time by unanimous decision.
