Four Armenian gymnasts have reached the final of the 2026 World Cup in Cottbus.

The first stage of the 2026 Artistic Gymnastics World Cup has started in Cottbus, Germany. Four gymnasts are representing the Armenian national team at the tournament, and all of them successfully advanced through qualification to reach the finals.
Mamikon Khachatryan and Hamlet Manukyan qualified for the pommel horse final, finishing second and third respectively, уступив only to Italy’s Gabriele Targhetta.
Artur Avetisyan and Artur Davtyan advanced to the rings final from first and third places. Azerbaijan’s Nikita Simonov finished second in qualification.
In addition, Artur Davtyan was scheduled to compete in the vault qualification but will not participate due to a back injury.
The finals in the rings and pommel horse events will take place on February 21.
It is worth noting that Hamlet Manukyan is the 2025 World Cup series winner in pommel horse, while Artur Davtyan won the overall 2025 World Cup standings in vault.
