2025 Judo World Championship U17: Day Three Results

On August 29 in Sofia (Bulgaria), the third day of the 2025 Judo World Championship among cadets under 17 took place. Finals were held in four weight categories: 73 and 81 kg (boys), and 57 and 63 kg (girls).
Representing the Armenian national team were Gor Galstyan (73 kg), Tigran Sarukhanyan (73 kg), and Zhora Gevorgyan (81 kg).
Galstyan and Sarukhanyan lost in their opening bouts. Sarukhanyan managed to win against an athlete from Kyrgyzstan but was defeated in the Round of 16 by Lithuania’s Taius Babaichenko, who later won bronze.
On the third day, world titles went to athletes from Uzbekistan, Serbia, Mongolia, and Russia. Before the final day, Uzbekistan leads the medal table with 4 gold medals, followed by Russia with 3 golds.
