Artur Davtyan wins 2026 Artistic Gymnastics World Cup stage in Cairo

Armenian gymnast Artur Davtyan became the winner of the 2026 Artistic Gymnastics World Cup stage held in Cairo.
In the vault final, Davtyan took first place with a score of 14.666. This was his first performance in this apparatus during the current season: earlier, at the Cottbus stage, he competed only on rings. In Cairo, the athlete participated in both events and also finished 4th on rings.

The Armenian team finished the Cairo stage with three medals — two gold and one silver. Earlier, Hamlet Manukyan won gold on pommel horse, while Artur Avetisyan took silver on rings.
The next World Cup stage will take place in Osijek (Croatia) from April 9 to 12, where Armenian gymnasts will also compete.
