Armenian Taekwondo Athletes Compete at 2025 Cadet World Championships in UAE

From May 9 to 14, the United Arab Emirates hosted the 2025 Cadet World Taekwondo Championships, where Armenian athletes also took part.

In the 37 kg weight category, Hrach Kasabyan ended his performance in the round of 64, losing to a South Korean opponent. David Danielyan (33 kg) won his opening match against a Kuwaiti athlete but was defeated by a Kazakh opponent in the next round.

According to the final results, Iran topped the men’s team rankings, while South Korea won among the women. Russian athletes claimed the most gold medals (five), but their results were not counted in the team standings as they competed under neutral status.
