Armenian gymnasts perform successfully at the World Cup stage in Osijek
Armenian athletes delivered strong performances at the final stage of the 2026 Artistic Gymnastics World Cup, held in Osijek.
The main star of the competition was Hamlet Manukyan. The 18-year-old athlete won the gold medal in the pommel horse event, scoring 14.733 points. Notably, Manukyan had also won the previous stage of the tournament in Cairo, confirming his excellent form.
In the same discipline, Mamikon Khachatryan finished in sixth place with a score of 13.433 points.
Another medal for the Armenian team was secured by Artur Avetisyan. He became the bronze medalist in the rings event, receiving 14.133 points from the judges. Overall, Avetisyan had a very consistent tournament, winning a full set of medals—gold, silver, and bronze—across the World Cup stages.
The competition continues, and tomorrow Artur Davtyan will compete in the vault final, aiming to win another medal for Armenia.
