Armenian boxers win 8 medals at the Dauria Cup 2025

On September 13, 2025, the international junior boxing tournament “Eurasian Dauria Cup 2025” for athletes aged 17–18 concluded in the Russian city of Chita.
The competition brought together 150 boxers from 19 countries: Russia, Zimbabwe, Palestine, Libya, Algeria, China, Tunisia, Mongolia, Serbia, Armenia, Brazil, Belarus, Thailand, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Cuba, South Africa, and Azerbaijan.
Results of Armenian boxers
Armenia was represented by several promising young athletes, many of whom reached the podium:

54 kg: Vagharshak Keyan (Armenia) defeated Arseniy Zhiltsov (Russia) 4:1 in the final and claimed the gold medal.

Over 92 kg: Tigran Khachatryan (Armenia) lost 0:5 in the decisive fight to Rinat Gasanov (Russia) and earned silver.

Six more Armenian boxers won bronze medals after reaching the semifinals: Erik Semerdjyan (48 kg), Vaghram Dovlatekyan (51 kg), Andranik Martirosyan (63.5 kg), Argishti Hakobyan (67 kg), Albert Harutyunyan (80 kg), and Sarkis Andreasyan (92 kg).
