Albert Aleksanjan involved in Norrköping goal in Swedish Cup (VIDEO)

19-year-old Armenian winger Albert Aleksanjan played his third official match for Swedish side Norrköping and was involved in his team’s only goal.

The footballer came on in the 32nd minute of the Swedish Cup group stage third-round match against GAIS. The game ended with a heavy 1–5 defeat for Norrköping.

Despite the result, Aleksanjan had an active spell on the pitch. In the 69th minute he broke through on his flank and delivered a cross into the penalty area toward the striker. After several deflections, the ball ended up in the net — the episode became Norrköping’s only goal of the match.

After the group stage, the team finished second in their group.

Aleksanjan joined Norrköping this winter from a Norwegian third-division club. In three official matches for the Swedish team, the 19-year-old winger has already scored one goal and provided one assist.
